Rod Quinn has been teaching drums for over 20 years, and he combines his
experience from that time with the invaluable knowledge he has gained
from working at the very top of the industry into lessons that give all
his students a very broad drumming foundation.
Alongside his private classes, Rod taught drums for 3 years at the
Centre for Performing Arts in Celbridge, before moving to the
Blanchardstown School of Music, which he also helped to co-found. He was
head of drums and percussion for 3 years at Aravon School in Bray, Co
Wicklow.
He has also given numerous Percussion Workshops in schools and colleges
across Ireland for the “Artscope” organisation, and he has lectured at
UCC in Cork.
